Father-Daughter Duo Completes Historic Ski Tour to Support Youth Initiatives

Greg Scott and his daughter Hali have made history by visiting all 44 lift-serviced ski resorts in British Columbia in just 42 days, a feat never before accomplished. Their journey, dubbed 'The Skadi Tour', was not only a personal challenge but also a mission to promote the Tidbits of Change Foundation, which encourages Canadian youth to collaborate with parents or mentors on community initiatives.

The tour, which began on January 25th in Terrace, B.C., and concluded on March 6th at Silver Star Resort near Vernon, saw the duo traveling in a custom-built tiny home by Hummingbird Micro Homes. Their adventure gained significant attention on social media, with their 'Chairlift Chatter' segments featuring local ski legends attracting hundreds of thousands of interactions. Along the way, they discovered two additional ski areas, completing their tour with a total of 44 resorts visited.

Doug Chimuk, SilverStar Marketing Manager, shared his enthusiasm for hosting Greg and Hali at the resort, noting the perfect timing of their arrival as the resort celebrated reaching its 200 cm snowfall mark for the season. The Skadi Tour, named after the Norse goddess of snow, skiing, and mountains, was supported by HEAD skis, Kal-Tire, and Hummingbird Micro Homes, who also contributed youth bursaries to the Tidbits of Change Foundation.
