Strategic Partnership Launches to Empower Military Spouses Through Leadership Development

The Military Spouse Advocacy Network (MSAN) and ZeroMils have announced a strategic partnership aimed at empowering military spouses through the launch of the Military Spouse Leadership Development Program Alumni Network (MSLDPAN). This initiative is designed to support graduates of MSAN's Military Spouse Leadership Development Program (MSLDP) by providing them with resources for personal and professional advancement. The collaboration is a response to the expressed needs of program alumni, with a focus on networking, leadership development, and mentorship.

Recent surveys among MSLDP graduates revealed a strong desire for increased networking opportunities, with 97% of respondents highlighting this need. Additionally, 98% expressed interest in virtual workshops and webinars for further leadership development, and nearly 60% sought mentorship to guide their ongoing leadership journeys. The MSLDPAN will address these needs through monthly meetings, connecting alumni with thought leaders, advocates, and mentors from various sectors to share insights and guidance.

A cornerstone of this partnership is the establishment of a mentor network from corporate, nonprofit, and government sectors, offering tailored support to MSLDP alumni. The initiative also plans to organize both in-person and virtual events to foster stronger relationships among alumni and showcase their leadership contributions.
