Raleigh Rescue Mission Expands Homeless Support with The Garden, A New Campus in Knightdale

The Raleigh Rescue Mission is taking a significant step forward in its mission to combat homelessness with the introduction of The Garden, a new campus located in Knightdale. This innovative facility is designed to provide a sanctuary for women and children experiencing situational homelessness, offering them not just shelter but a pathway to long-term stability and success. The Garden represents a pivotal expansion in the organization's capacity, enabling it to serve 300-350 women and children annually, a substantial increase from its current accommodations for 60 women and 40 men per night.

At the heart of The Garden's approach is the New Life Plan, a holistic program that encompasses job training, mental and physical health services, and financial literacy classes. This comprehensive strategy is aimed at addressing the root causes of homelessness, empowering residents to rebuild their lives with confidence and independence. The facility will also feature a Children's Learning Center with the capacity to nurture 150 children, ensuring that the youngest victims of homelessness receive the care and education they deserve.
