LIMS Launches Second Cohort of Military Spouse Leadership Development Program to Empower Community Leaders

The Leadership Institute for Military Spouses (LIMS) is set to launch its second cohort of the Military Spouse Leadership Development Program (MSLDP) in 2025, marking a significant step forward in empowering military spouses with the skills necessary to become leaders in their communities. This intermediate-level program is designed to provide comprehensive training in meta-leadership, crisis management, conflict resolution, communication, and mental health, equipping participants with the tools they need to make a tangible impact.

Participants who successfully complete the program will receive a leadership certificate from Harvard University's National Preparedness Leadership Initiative and a Mental Health Ally certificate from Psych Hub, accolades that underscore the program's commitment to excellence and the development of well-rounded leaders. The program is open to spouses of currently serving United States military members from any branch, including Reserves, Guard, post-9/11 Gold Star Spouses, Surviving Spouses, Caregivers, and Spouses of Veterans or Retirees, with 50 spots available in a free, global, and virtual format.

Graduates of the program will gain access to the Military Spouse Alumni Network, a platform for continued learning and networking with peers, further enhancing their leadership capabilities and opportunities for community engagement. The initiative, supported by the Car Donation Foundation's Vehicles for Veterans, highlights a collaborative effort to unlock the leadership potential within military spouse communities, recognizing their role as catalysts for positive change.
