CRVA's 50th Anniversary Tour Celebrates RV Lifestyle and Supports Children with Cancer

The Canadian Recreational Vehicle Association (CRVA) is set to celebrate its 50th anniversary in a unique and impactful way. Starting June 16th, CRVA's President, Shane Devenish, will traverse Canada in a specially wrapped 2025 Citation Reward Travel Trailer by General Coach. This journey is not just a celebration of the RV lifestyle but also a fundraiser for the Care Camps Foundation, a charity dedicated to providing healing camp experiences for children battling cancer.

RVing holds a special place in the hearts of Canadians, with over 2.1 million households owning an RV. This lifestyle not only offers a way to explore the country's breathtaking landscapes but also plays a significant role in reducing stress and supporting local economies. The RV industry is a powerhouse in Canada, contributing over $3.4 billion annually to the economy and supporting more than 14,000 jobs across various sectors.

The anniversary tour will make stops at campgrounds and RV dealerships nationwide, including notable locations like Transcona Trailer Sales in Winnipeg and Western Country RV in Airdrie. The tour will also feature participation in major events such as the Vancouver Craft Beer and Music Festival and the Boots and Hearts Festival, concluding at the Canadian National Exhibition in Toronto. Attendees will have the opportunity to view the anniversary trailer, share their RVing stories, and purchase tickets for a chance to win the trailer, with all proceeds going to Care Camps.

Shane Devenish highlighted the association's commitment to giving back to the community through this initiative, underscoring the RV lifestyle's significance in Canadian culture.
