Community and BFFE Rally to Support Survivors and Their Pets

Best Friends Fur Ever (BFFE) has significantly contributed to a fundraising effort that exceeded its $7,000 goal for the Sexual Assault/Spouse Abuse Resource Center (SARC) in Maryland. This initiative supports the center's onsite kennel project, ensuring that survivors of domestic violence do not have to part with their pets during difficult times. The fundraiser, held on June 14th at Concord Point in Havre de Grace, was a community-centric event featuring a family-friendly atmosphere and an awareness parade.

Luisa Caiazzo, President and CEO of SARC, pointed out the broader impact of the fundraiser, noting its role in eliminating obstacles for survivors seeking assistance. The event served as both a fundraising and awareness-raising opportunity, with attendees participating in dog-friendly activities and a solidarity march down Main Street.

BFFE's contribution of over $2,000 was matched by its co-founders, Pat and Kelly Cullum, demonstrating their commitment to SARC's cause.
