Younce, Vtipil, Baznik & Banks, P.A. Awards Scholarships to North Carolina Students Committed to Justice

Younce, Vtipil, Baznik & Banks, P.A. has announced the winners of its 2025 scholarship competition, awarding $3,000 to two North Carolina students who demonstrated a deep understanding of justice and a commitment to societal improvement. The annual essay contest focused on the theme of justice, encouraging applicants to reflect on its meaning and their future roles in promoting a fairer society.

Jayceon Norris, awarded the first-place scholarship of $2,000, is a first-generation college student and graduate of North Pitt High School. Norris's resilience and dedication to mental health advocacy, along with his plans to pursue a master's degree in psychology, underscore his potential to contribute significantly to societal well-being.

Dixie Huffman, the second-place winner, received a $1,000 scholarship. A graduate of Fred T Foard High, Huffman aims to major in Political Science and Philosophy at the University of Colorado – Colorado Springs, with aspirations to become an attorney focused on policy reform in areas such as juvenile justice, mental health, and educational equity.
