The Roland Park Community Foundation has successfully completed the $9 million purchase of Hillside Park, a 20-acre property formerly owned by the Baltimore Country Club, heralding a transformative moment for public spaces in Baltimore. This landmark achievement, culminating from a quarter-century of meticulous planning and fundraising efforts, is poised to introduce the first expansive public park in the city since the 19th century.
