The Mirasol Foundation, Inc. has announced a landmark year in charitable giving, with over $720,000 distributed to 49 local nonprofits across Palm Beach County. This significant contribution highlights the Foundation's dedication to tackling pressing issues such as family and child crises, veterans' support, food insecurity, and homelessness. The Foundation's achievements are further underscored by the leadership transition to Ed Glassman as President, aiming to enhance transparency, outreach, and volunteer involvement.

In fiscal year 2025, the Foundation not only exceeded its $700,000 fundraising goal by raising over $760,000 but also expanded its support to include five new organizations. Among the beneficiaries were the Palm Beach County Food Bank, Wounded Veterans Relief Fund, and Healthy Mothers, Healthy Babies, showcasing the broad and impactful reach of the Foundation's efforts. The expansion of the Gifts & Grants Committee to 30 volunteers has been crucial in ensuring that donations are directed to where they are most needed, following a meticulous review of 80 proposals.

Beyond monetary donations, the Mirasol Foundation has significantly increased its community service initiatives, with more than 125 volunteers dedicating over 375 hours in 2025. These efforts included food and clothing drives, as well as donations of essential items like diapers and formula, directly aiding thousands in the community. Strategic initiatives such as the launch of MFI-TV and the formation of a new Development Committee are part of the Foundation's plans to ensure sustainable growth and a deeper community impact.

Ed Glassman, the new President, shared his pride in leading the Foundation and credited the Mirasol community's collective generosity for its achievements. Outgoing President Marilyn Wilson reflected on the strong community support during her tenure and expressed confidence in the Foundation's future under Glassman's leadership.
